Exams
The Board of Examiners (BOE) of Engineers Nova Scotia reviews academic qualifications of applicants applying for registration with Engineers Nova Scotia to determine the level and quality of academic training. The Board's purpose is protection of the public by ensuring that applicants are qualified to practice engineering in Nova Scotia. If academic qualifications need to be confirmed, exams will be assigned from the Engineers Canada Examination Syllabus or the Board may assign the United States Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE). A letter explaining the outcome of the Board of Examiners assessment will provide details for each applicant. For more information on technical exams select the National Technical Exams link or for the FE select the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam link.
