The Mentoring Plus Strategy (TMPS)

Aug 29, 2023 - Aug 29, 2024

Nova Scotia

The MentoringPlus strategy is a pilot project in Nova Scotia that draws upon the skills and knowledge of the retired and near retired (55+) population, to help support individuals aged 16-35+ to explore and connect to career paths they’re interested in, specifically through implementing a variety of team mentoring initiatives.

The project began in 2017, piloted by Dalhousie College of Continuing Education and funded federally from the New Horizons for Seniors program, and has been gaining traction ever since— currently on its way to be rolled out province-wide and perhaps beyond.

Whether you are a retired professional, a business or a non-profit organization interested in promoting the prosperity of a profession, or an individual seeking career support of any kind, MentoringPlus provides the gratifying opportunity to do so in your local community.

Not sure where you might fit in? The MentoringPlus strategy has a meaningful role for everyone.
