Dear Member of Engineers Canada,

We are writing to ask for your participation in a research study being undertaken for the Climate Change Impacts and Adaptation Division of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan).

The aim of this study is to better understand where professionals in Canada stand in terms of learning and applying climate change adaptation knowledge and skills in their practice, identify gaps, monitor trends over time and inform climate change adaptation programming. The results of this research will also be shared with Engineers Canada.

For this project, we have enlisted Earnscliffe Strategy Group (Earnscliffe) to conduct research including an online survey targeting accountants, engineers, landscape architects, and planners. While we appreciate that your time is valuable, we would greatly appreciate if you would take the 10-15 minutes required to provide your perspective.

I want to assure you that results will be anonymous and reported on an aggregate basis only, rather than attributed to an individual or an organization. Your response will be treated with complete confidentiality and not be revealed to NRCan or any other party by Earnscliffe.
