In March 2023, Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, tabled Budget 2023: A Made-in-Canada Plan: Strong Middle Class, Affordable Economy, Healthy Future. As part of our work on Core Purpose 5 (CP5): Advocating to the federal government, we issued a media release on the same day, made available on our public website at the following link. Additionally, we have now prepared a summary of the budget, highlighting key areas of relevance to the engineering profession and presenting opportunities for the profession to contribute.
