TD Insurance is ready to support your members when they need us the most, and we are putting all efforts forward to support them in this time of need. Last Thursday, September 22nd, part of TD Insurance's Catastrophe Advisors Team (CAT) were flown to Halifax, and were then deployed to the impacted areas of greatest need, ensuring a quick and safe response to our customers.  As of September 27th, 2022, 7:30PM, our Catastrophe Advisors Teams (CAT) continue to be on the ground in the most impacted areas. Our Mobile Response Unit (MRU) is opened, in Sydney, NS, where customers may connect with us in person

Our claims teams are focused on making initial call outs to impacted customers today, continuing to make progress. Our CAT Field teams are on the ground in the region and inspecting damages, in Eastern Nova Scotia and Cape Breton. An additional ten independent field adjusters are on their way to PEI. In Newfoundland, we are supported by our preferred contractor network to assist our customers in that area.

Please note that customers who have been affected by Hurricane Fiona can start a claim online on our website, or through the TD MyInsurance App. They can also contact us at 1-888-773-7022 if they have questions about their insurance coverage or to report a claim.
