Selectable Sloping Sand Filter Review
Oct 14, 2021 12:00 AM
Sloping sand filters have become the most used system in Nova Scotia. At the request of the industry association, Nova Scotia Environment and Climate Change has developed a selectable concept for sloping sand filters to be considered for addition to the Onsite Sewage Disposal Systems Standard. This would allow Qualified Persons to select sloping sand filters for installation.
The selection table, cross section, and explanation on how to use the table is posted to the Nova Scotia Environment and Climate Change website for review and comment. https://novascotia.ca/nse/wastewater/on.site.sewage.disposal.asp
